Ibbi Bridge: Gov. Ishaku applauds Buhari, guarantees security of contractors

The Taraba state Governor, Arch Darius Ishaku has landed the president, Mohammad Buhari for awarding and kick-starting Ibbi bridge in the state, on Friday.

The governor said this in Ibbi LG when he visited the site of the Chinese company on Friday. The governor thanked the president for facilitating the award of the N57 billion contract, which according to the Governor, has been on the drawing board since the 1960s.

Adding that the movement of goods and services as well as improve commercial activities within across Benue, North Central and North Eastern states of the country will be more easier when the bridge is completed

Ishaku also assured the RCC construction firm handling the building of the bridge across river Ibi in Ibi LGA of the state of adequate security and cooperation of residents to ensure speedy completion of the project.

He also canvassed for the support of the people around that axis particularly, Wukari, Takum, etc for a successful work as the project is directly within their domain and they will benefit more directly
