Osun PDP Welcomes New Members In Irepodun Local Government

It was a big leap again for People’s Democratic Party in Osun State on Thursday in Irepodun Local Government of the state, as several new members were welcomed into party by the State Working Committee led by the state chairman, Elder Sunday Olatunde Akanfe (Atidade).

The defectors were received at the party secretariat in Ilobu, headquarters of Irepodun Local Government.

The new entrants from APC, SDP, ADP and other political parties expressed readiness to contribute their quota to PDP towards winning the forthcoming governorship election in 2022.

The State Chairman, Akanfe appealed to the new members to work in harmony with existing structure of the party in the local government to attract more valuable personalities into the PDP in the local government.

Chairman of the party and a prominent leader of the party in the local government, Honorable Saka Adeyi and Barrister Kamorudeen Ajisafe respectively commended the Elder Sunday Akanfe Atidade led State Working Committee for honoring the local government chapter of the party with their presence to formally welcome the new members. They both promised to work with the new entrants to further entrench the cause PDP in Irepodun local government in tandem with the present objective of the party in Osun State.

Present at the event include elders of the party in the Local Government led by Honorable Pa Silas Opayinka, State Officers and Local Government Party Chairmen from the zone.
